

Massimo Poliero
JTF and Legor Group President
With a diploma in metallurgy and a specialization in the jewellery sector, he combines technical expertise with strategic vision. His career spans the entire value chain: from R&D to lost-wax casting as a department manager, through to production management in third-party companies, before joining Legor as Technical Manager. There, he recognized the potential of technological innovation and research, leading the company’s transformation from a family-run business into an international industrial group. He contributed to the development of advanced solutions for precious and non-precious metals, as well as to the growth of the electroplating division, strengthening Legor’s role as a leading technological partner. CEO since 1996, he has guided the Group through a path of global expansion, personally overseeing the opening of several of Legor’s strategic subsidiaries worldwide. Today, Legor is an internationally recognized multinational company, renowned for its excellence in metallurgy and applied chemistry for the jewellery industry.

Andrea Friso
R&D Manager Master Alloy – Legor Group
Andrea Friso currently serves as R&D Manager for the Master Alloy Division at Legor Group S.p.A. He graduated in Materials Engineering from the University of Padua in 2003 with a thesis focused on innovative coloured gold alloys, and has been collaborating with Legor Group since 2004. Within the company, he acts as the key link between the sales force, production area and R&D department, thanks to the experience gained across different product categories and their positioning in various markets. He supports the sales team in commercial planning, achieving objectives and monitoring performance on a regular basis. He also collaborates with the technical and R&D departments in the development, progress and promotion of products.

Mattia Lago
3D Metal Hub Operations Manager – Legor Group
Mattia Lago currently serves as 3D Metal Hub Operation Manager at Legor Group S.p.A. He holds a degree in Materials Engineering and has been working in the field of metal 3D printing since 2016.
From 2018 to 2020, he managed SLM systems at the National Institute for Nuclear Physics in Padua, developing specialist expertise in metal additive manufacturing processes. He joined Legor Group in 2020, initially focusing on the start-up and implementation of the company’s Binder Jetting metal 3D printing service.
Since 2022, he has been coordinating the operational activities of the 3D Metal Hub, overseeing the development and industrialization of production processes related to metal additive manufacturing for the jewellery, fashion and industrial sectors. He also collaborates with the R&D team on the development of precious metal printing and sintering processes, contributing to the advancement of Binder Jetting technologies applied to the world of luxury and high-end manufacturing.
Mattia Trentin
3D Metal Hub Technical Specialist – Legor Group
Mattia Trentin obtained his Master’s Degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Padua in December 2022, developing a thesis focused on the Binder Jet 3D printing process for the production of nickel-free steel components. During his thesis work, he began collaborating with Legor Group S.p.A., officially joining the company in June 2022.
He currently holds the position of 3D Technical Specialist within the Legor 3D Metal Hub. He is responsible for managing and developing customer projects and requests in collaboration with the 3D team, while also supporting Research & Development activities aimed at optimizing the printing and sintering processes of new materials, both precious and non-precious.
