The evolution of geopolitical risks and strategic considerations, expectations on monetary policies and inflation, changes in bond yields, and the relative strength of the US dollar are some of the factors that most influence the prices of gold and precious metals. How will these variables develop over the course of 2024 and what impact will they have on the prices?
Analysis of the trends in the Italian goldsmith sector with a particular focus on the results in international markets in terms of trends and competitive positioning. Furthermore, the sector analysis will be integrated with qualitative surveys developed through direct involvement of the operators.)

Daniela Corsini
Graduated with honors in Economics, Statistics and Social Sciences at the Bocconi University in Milan. She started her professional career in 2006 at Eurizon Capital SA in Luxemburg as portfolio manager dedicated to emerging and frontier markets’ equity funds. In 2011 she became part of the Intesa Sanpaolo Research Department where she is in charge of macroeconomic research on commodity markets, covering the Energy, Industrial and Precious Metals, Agriculture sectors. Since 2010 she has been member of the CFA Institute.
Sara Giusti
Economista presso l’Ufficio Industry Research della Direzione Studi e Ricerche di Intesa Sanpaolo. Laureata in Discipline Economiche presso l’Università Cattaneo di Varese. Svolge attività di ricerca nell’ambito dell’economia industriale, in particolare sui settori del sistema moda e sui territori di Toscana e Umbria.
